Second Matcha House
Terms of Service
Effective 17 July 2026
These Terms govern purchases from SECOND MATCHA HOUSE (UEN 53522497D) through this website. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by SECOND MATCHA HOUSE, a business registered in Singapore under UEN 53522497D. You may contact us at secondmatchahouse@gmail.com.
2. Ordering
- You must provide complete and accurate order and contact details.
- An order submitted through the website is your offer to buy. We may accept or reject it, including where an item is unavailable, a price or description is incorrect, payment cannot be verified, or we cannot fulfil the selected delivery or pickup slot.
- Your order number and order page acknowledge receipt of your order. They do not by themselves confirm payment or final acceptance.
- Product images are illustrative. Handmade drinks and food may vary slightly in appearance, colour, or presentation.
3. Prices, promotions, and payment
- Prices are shown in Singapore dollars. The checkout page shows the product subtotal, discounts, delivery fee, and total before you order.
- Promotions and loyalty rewards are subject to their displayed eligibility, validity, redemption, and usage limits. Unless stated otherwise, they have no cash value and cannot be combined or applied retrospectively.
- Payment is made by PayNow using the QR code and order reference shown on your order page. You are responsible for checking the recipient, amount, and reference before authorising payment.
- Submitting an order does not itself establish that funds were received. We may verify payment before preparing or releasing an order.
4. Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Because products may be made to order and are perishable, a change or cancellation is not guaranteed once preparation has begun, ingredients have been committed, or delivery has been arranged.
If we cannot fulfil an accepted, paid order, we will offer a reasonable replacement, rescheduling, store credit, or refund, as appropriate. If an item is incorrect, missing, damaged, or materially not as described, contact us promptly with your order number and supporting details so we can assess and provide an appropriate remedy. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Singapore law.
5. Pickup and delivery
We currently accept orders for pickup or delivery within Singapore only and only within the locations or service areas offered at checkout.
- Times are estimates and may be affected by order volume, weather, traffic, access restrictions, or events outside our reasonable control.
- For pickup, collect from the selected location during the agreed slot. For delivery, ensure that the address, postal code, contact number, and access instructions are accurate and that someone can receive the order.
- If collection or delivery fails because the details are wrong, nobody is available, or access is unavailable, we may charge reasonable redelivery costs or treat the order as completed where redelivery is not reasonably possible.
- Risk of loss passes to you when the order is collected or delivered to the address or recipient you specified.
6. Allergies and product information
Please review product descriptions and tell us about allergies before ordering. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, nuts, soy, gluten, or other allergens. Although we take reasonable care, we do not operate an allergen-free environment and cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before placing an order.
7. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent orders or payments, or use it unlawfully. The website content, branding, photographs, and design belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or commercially used without permission, except as allowed by law.
8. Website availability and liability
We aim to keep product, pricing, and availability information accurate, but may correct errors and update or suspend the website when reasonably necessary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our liability for a claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9. Privacy and third-party services
Our collection and use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Links or optional services provided by third parties, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, map providers, or social platforms, are also subject to those parties' terms and privacy practices.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. The Terms in force when you place an order apply to that order. These Terms are governed by Singapore law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
